A Week at Artisan Bloom

Monday : How it starts

Reset and Recovery. Our team arrives at our Artisan Bloom warehouse ready to count, clean, and reset from the busy weekend prior. Our team is tasked with cleaning and restocking inventory. Monday’s are a vital day to set up the week for success with a fresh and clean slate.

Tuesday : Flowers incoming

Flowers Arrive. Yes, you heard that right! We get eyes on the product 5 days before your Saturday event. The reasoning behind this is because flowers are a little high maintenance if we are being honest. A quick explanation of what processing florals looks like-  all flowers must receive a fresh cut, all leaves must be trimmed and fresh water must be added to all the buckets. The science behind this process is to ensure that all the blooms are optimizing their water intake which in turn optimizes their longevity. Once the day is over, all the florals go into the fridge to hydrate and await the designer's.

Wednesday : Prep prep prep

Preparation. A vital step to set our designers up for the week, especially when we have a huge week ahead of us with multiple events. Prep takes place at the shop and at the warehouse. Teams gather and reallocate all our vases, candles, and supplies.

Thursday + Friday : Create

Create and Build. Build days are where we bring in our team of highly skilled floral designers to create and bring the florals to their full potential. Our talented designers come from all over the sate to get their hands in the creation process. Did you know that we build an event to 75% completion prior to the event day?

Saturday : Event time

Production. Our team arrives to the Artisan Bloom shop bright and early - wearing all black - ready to start the day at full speed. The day starts with a lot of heavy lifting getting all the arrangements, urns, arches, etc. in a fleet of vans and box trucks. Once we are loaded, we caravan to one of the stunning venues that Park City has to offer. Upon arrival what goes in must come out… We unload all florals to a staging area where we then game plan and eventually divide and conquer - one team heads to the ceremony space while the other team begins on the reception segment of the venue. Then, the magic is created…

The results

XOXO,

Artisan Bloom
