A Week at Artisan Bloom

Monday : How it starts

Monday is a recovery and reset day. Our team arrives at the warehouse ready to count, clean, and reset from the busy weekend. Our busy bees are tasked with cleaning and restocking inventory to set up the success of the team for the next week of events.

Tuesday : Eyes on the product

Tuesday is where the flowers make their first entrance. Yes, you heard that right! We get eyes on the product 4 days before your Saturday event. The reasoning behind this is because flowers are a little high maintenance if we are being honest. A quick explanation of what processing looks like-  all flowers must receive a fresh cut, all leaves must be trimmed and fresh water must be added to all the buckets. The science behind this process is to ensure that all the blooms are optimizing their water intake which in turn optimizes their longevity. Once the day is over, all the florals go into the fridge and await the designer's hands.

Wednesday : Prep prep prep

Prepping is a great way to set our designers up for the week, especially when we have a huge week ahead of us. Our warehouse teams also take the prep day to gather all our vases and candles and get them

Thursday + Friday : build and build again

“Build” days are where we bring in our team of floral designers to create and bring the florals to their full potential. Our designers come from all over the valley (sometimes all over the state) to get their hands in the creation process.

Saturday : It’s go time

Our team is at ourArtisan Bloom home base bright and early - wearing all black - ready to start the day at full speed. The day starts with a lot of heavy lifting getting all the arrangements, urns, arches, etc. in a fleet of vans and box trucks. Once we are loaded, we caravan to one of the stunning venues that Park City has to offer. Once we arrive what goes in must come out. We unload all florals to a staging area where we then game plan and eventually divide and conquer - one team usually heads to the ceremony space while the other team begins on the reception segment of the venue. And the magic is created…
